How to Prevent Covid-19 Virus
and keep Positive Good Vibes
With all the talk and news about the Corvid-19 or as we call it the “C” word, it can be a challenge to stay positive and uplifting. It is times like this with mass media propaganda that we all need uplifting and encouragement. Since the c word started in china, china has learned a great deal about what helps to prevent the virus.Listed in this blog are a few things to help keep the family safe, while maintaining a good spirit and encouragement for the home.
1. WASH HANDS OFTEN :
We all have heard that the c word is killed with soap and detergent, so keep washing hands ESPECIALLY WHEN COMING IN FROM OUT DOORS.
2. STAY IN DOORS WHERE POSSIBLE:
We all aren’t wealthy enough to stay at home for weeks at a time however committing to only going out to work and get food will help you and your family stay safe.
3. DON’T WATCH THE NEWS:
Sorry Fox News but lets face it, good news rarely comes from the local news, so to keep the kids and teenagers from panicking, turn the channel. watch forms of comedy or drama shows for entertainment, and play plenty of uplifting music such as gospel music or old school ( maze featuring Frankie Beverly plays all day in my house)
4. WHEN OUTSIDE DON’T TOUCH SURFACES:
Keep your hands to yourself and don’t touch your eyes, mouth or nose til you are back at home and have thoroughly washed your hands.
5. TAKE OFF OUTDOOR CLOTHES IMMEDIATELY :
Taking off clothes you have worn out doors and washing them is essential to be sure nothing has come into your home, if you cant wash them, put them in the sun as sun light kills the c word virus.
Yes pray, prayer can really comfort the soul and help kids to feel more secure. No matter what deity you pray to, it is very true that prayer changes things.
7. DRINK HOT LIQUIDS:
Tea, soups, water, etc. Staying hydrated and with hot liquids helps to prevent becoming infected as the c word needs cold places to grow.
8. DO NOT SMOKE:
I know this is a hard one but smoking can lower your immune system and lowers your lung capacity….just press pause on smoking for a week or 2. do it for your health sake.
9. PLAY GAMES TO STAY BUSY:
A bored mind is no good, we all know this… so board games, monopoly games, UNO, or just plain cards or checkers and chess can help to have a bit of fun and keep the mind busy.
10. TAKE VITAMINS:
Again keeping the body immune system high is essential right now….. vitamin C, D3, along with B12 and Zinc are VITALLY important right now.
